This doesn't strike me as disco. It's totally in line with the "house" music sound of the early 90s. House music had a highly emphasized baseline, waaaay more than disco did. Disco was much more orchestral in sound (violins, brass, flutes, etc).I like hearing this, especially compared to what I hear these days, which is boringly repetitive with poor singers and no imagination and completely formulaic.

@Terrahawk8 I have that exact album by George Benson. Damn good remake. I just recently brought it out of the archives paying attention to the late, great Ralph McDonald's percussion work on this album. RIP Ralph.
