WILDPATH is a symphonic female fronted Power Metal band from France. I haven't heard much French Metal as of late. Marjolaine reminds me a bit of the magnificent Tarja Turunen. She has a delightful operatic voice and it is joy to listen to. The band plays with many different tempos and time signatures. You may think they are slow, and all of a sudden they explode into some fast drumming and riffing. They have a wide variety of sounds There is some outright shredding in the song "Timeworn" in the opening to the song and then some truly terrific riffing that has a bit of the ICED EARTH patented sound. The song is complex and has so many elements in it. It is a truly fabulous song...
