I feel blessed to have seen the Wilco line up live that included Jay twice in 1999. The Summerteeth tour. It was wild. And wonderful as all their shows have been. RIP Jay. Love Wilco always.

Nels isn't trying to play these songs like they were played nearly 20 years ago. Nels has a fine grasp on the subtleties and reinterprets them into his own style, not Jay's.

This is great. I do agree that Nels tends to lose sight of the subtley of many of the earlier songs...

Love Uncle Tupelo-------but from 2:50 on, this just kicks ass! Wilcos first album (which I call UTs last album) is awesome! Anyone agree? Oh well, like SirRedSun88 said, who knows, I'm drunk.

Jeff Tweedy wrote the whole song.

Wilco has always been a great band and continue to be, despite a slightly different sound with more technical and polished musicians in their current line-up. While I prefer their older, more country/roots-rock stuff, I saw them live last year and I was blown away by their incredible performance. Jeff Tweedy is a God

@SirRedSun88 I love the twang, but bro, wilco has evolved so well. Ya i would dig a more country roots vibe, but i just saw the group a week ago and fucking believe me, the group is so complete with nels.amazing group.

its an Uncle Tupelo song. Jeff was in that band so I guess it's kinda a cover, but he probably helped write it.
