I find it interesting how Wilco held off their concerts in Indiana due to the new Relgious Freedom Restoration Act. Surely, they got some likes on facebook, smart decission, it will have an impact on their pockets. Who knows? Maybe they'll enjoy new gay fanclub? As everyone can predict the new law in Indiana means the devastating persecution of gays. Now Christain bakers won't be forced to bake "gay cakes" and Christian florists can refuse to make a bouquet for a gay "marriage". Can someone imagine more awful harassment? The horror! But I assume Wilco members, as 99% dickheads, do not know what the new legislation means. Why should they? It's easier not to understand and make up such blatant and intellectually offensive comparisons like refusing service to black people or racial segregation (as if it even was relevant)...Nevertheless, I think that in order to be more gay friendly, they shouldn't stop here. I'd suggest hiring a drag queen or something. There are many possibilities. That said, I wish I could boycott Wilco, but I can't because:1) I'm not an American, so I won't attend their gigs anyway. Gladly I live in a country where I won't be sued to bankruptcy when I refuse to photograph a gay couple during their "marriage"2) I don't know them. I've just heard their songs for the first time because of the "scandalous" decision of Indiana governor. And I find this music offensive to my sense of hearing. This boycott is equally lame as Tim Cock's one. It's easy to groan at Indiana new law. Apple stores in Saudi Arabia are not the problem though. Hypocrisy 101.Ah yeah, I woudl forgot, maybe Wilco should reconsider using microphones, loudspeakers and other sounding stuff. Most probably they are produced in China, which as knows, does not recognize same-sex "marriages".
