I can't believe it took me a really long time to understand why many people seem to love this song.It's referring to a very popular scripture : Matthew 10: 29-31.This will sound silly but that scripture really hit home when one day I was thinking how I cared so much for my dog. Believe it or not, I sometimes share my very own food, my favorite meals with it. And if I care so much for that animal, though it's just an animal, God must really care that much more for me. Since I accepted the Lord about two years ago , the Lord has blessed me immensely. I started singing in Spanish . Then one day I sang amazing grace and people were I didn't know she sings. I didn't know either until God blessed me with this gift of singing which only belongs to him. Then one day out of the middle of no where in my heart I said I would sing the sparrow. I started listening to Whitney Houston singing the sparrow and sang this song in church and it was a blessing to others.
