I know this song is about the boat and everything but it has taken on a new meaning for me. My son who is 11 was picked on by this one kid in his class because he wore this bracelet of a Cross (a gift from his mother before she passed). But the kid would pick on my son making fun of him for believe in Jesus and wearing the cross, it hurt and scared my son so much he quit wearing it. And I asked him why and it broke my heart and I told him you got to stand up for what you believe no matter what, that's whats important, be strong and don't be ashamed of who you are or what you believe. So one day driving him to school this song comes on the radio and I look back at my son and there are tears in his eyes I asked "Whats wrong?" He replies "Dad...I got to be strong, I'm little fighter." and he took out his bracelet and put it on with a big smile. I was so proud of my son!! He quotes the part "Without a weapon in your hand, You came to fight a war, They took your life but didn't know, That you will never die" saying thats Jesus helping him out, helping out Jesus's little fighter, my boy! We now blast this song every morning as we go to school, giving him courage and strength hearing him yell "Rise Up! Little Fighter!" with his cross bracelet on is one of my favorite things in the world, love my son and love this song for all its wonder! God Bless folks :)
