Hylton seems to have dropped the stop start,over elaborate Whiteman style by 1930 and developed a more full on sound which to my ears is so much better..The small queens hall marks a return to Hylton's first engagement in 1921..The main hall was larger than the Royal Opera House and was a huge entertainment centre..A shame it was destroyed during an air raid in ww2.A massive Victorian gem lost for ever12 years ago
