Hmmm.. Well, perhaps you're right but I am a bit curious that why Marti would intend to change their own lyrics of this song... So, I have both versions of this album - vinyl and on CD and the covers of the both albums include so exactly these words... Just it was written "She casts the spell then leaves me"... though and at some of their live performances however it is possible to hear it too.. ;)10 years ago

TheMara61 is 100% correct, the words are "to tease". Its crystal clear he sings that with emphasis on the "t" on both words. I've loved this song since it came out and never heard "then leaves", it sounds absolutely nothing like it :/ lol11 years ago
