This is from the UK release of 'Whatever Turns You on!' I only knew of this version until the lat 90's.

The intro has been tampered with here . . . . re-recorded with overdub's. What's going on here? Anyone know?

Leslie seems to have discovered open tuning on this one ....

when I saw them in Hollywood they were opened for by Flash Cadillac and the Continental Kids and Mott the Hoople. Jack Bruce did a bass solo that would put many guitar players to shame. West played a Flying V with an empty bridge pickup socket which he perpetually put out cigarettes in.

Loved these guys back in the day. The music still holds up.

WB&L were supported by the Edgar Winter Group (including Derringer?) on several shows in the US in Nov/Dec 1972. Grin, Foghat & the J Geils Band also supported the band at various venues in North America. Jimmy Stevens provided support on the UK dates of the band's 1973 European tour.

Does anybody know who these guys toured with? I need to know if Rick Derringer played on the bill with them at some point.

@Torvasal I think its on the album "whatever turns you on". My record version is slightly different, without the slide guitar...

Great song... thanks for posting. I wore out the LP back in the 70s on this song.
