Sounds alot like the Killers - but maybe its the Killers who sound like this album since it was so much earlier. Yeah they moved away from true punk but they are artists and artists change and evolve. Picasso wasn't a cubist all his life. 11 years ago

I agree this album is alright BUT to slate all music that pathed the way for the ataris is just stupid and as you put "narrow minded", they have only been able to make this album on the back of the other 4 successful studio albums.. this album has almost ruined the ataris as they were dropped by their label after the release date in 07 they haven't had the financing to make their next album "The Graveyard of the Atlantic" Kris has even put an acoustic EP of old songs together to help pay for it12 years ago

@NervousBird444 I totally agree with you ! When bands make such a drastic change they really do draw a line between open minded listeners or people who wants to be fed with the same stuff. Its kinda funny how when people don't complain for a style change of a band, they complain because they made the same record again eheh13 years ago
