I believe that the Russian label Olympia has made a good number of recordings of Weinberg's music, especially the symphonies. These can be hard to find in the West though, and some may be out of print. Certainly his music deserves more exposure. It is really terrific!14 years ago

I heard the Chamber Piece opus 66 of Weinberg last year in Utrecht, and most people were amazed that this composer is lesser known in the West. This is a subtle piece too. Someone would do well to introduce this piece as well, as I think I do not know how to listen to it. Russia is so big that there must be a few more great Weinberg recordings out there, maybe made for radio.Videos Relacionados
