I think this album, while still a good record, is the weakest studio albums by Ween. Given what we have since learned about the lack of chemistry and friendship between the band's two members, it is easy to understand why the album lacks some of the magic of Ween's other studio efforts (especially Quebec and the Mollusk, which, I think -- at the risk of being hyperbolic -- are close to perfect.That said, the album has quite a few gems and this is one of them. So, too, are Your Party, Object and Sweetheart in the Summer. I think the songs chiefly written by Aaron/Gene are seemingly the better efforts (though I don't know who is chiefly responsible for Object, we do know that Your Party and Lullaby are Aaron's songs, according to interviews and web postings by the man himself)>

This has to be inspired by Antony & The Johnsons, the piano, the chords, the voice, the words (rapture, ghost man, baby) the sweet, innocent imagery and the harp.
