I don't understand why people are still trying to throw blame on a certain person. It just didn't work out as a whole... and if someone is going to leave who makes more sense? A guitarist that can be replaced or the lead singer that will most likely lead to the bands destruction if replaced? The guitarist of course... If Amy would have been replaced the band would never have made it. Ben actually says this in a response he posted on evboards.

Hah. Gotta love all the "don't compare them to Evanescence" posts. Lessee... the name of the band is a direct dig, the message/theme of the song sounds like it is probably a jab at Amy Lee, and they've given their American Idol vocalist an Amy Lee makeover. Don't kid yourself, it has just as much to do with making a point as it does with making music. Moody etc are being childish asshats.

I don't think the song is necessarily based on BMTL. Based on their meaning of the song, I think Ben Moody felt that either him or Amy screwed over the band trying to get ahead and to become more famous. Thus eluding to the fact he left the band. Just my interpretation.
