The moron with a hard on

Saw him in the eighties and nineties several times. Brilliant. Great man. Deserved more than just a few session gigs. His album with Atlantic could have been better had they not convinced him to do strings. His own albums were fantastic. Live - he was incredible, giving, perfect, funny and wonderfully open. Wonderful man.

such a grace in singing it too. i remember his first album i got in the 70`s.. i knew then, he would make his way in if only he was left more time in this world, to blow all the other acoustic guitar players.. what a feeling!?

Great to see him play again thanks for sharing this. People rarely mention the quality of his singing which is effortless and beautifully phrased in any register he chooses. I don't think anyone has ever done guitar and voice better, with such inventiveness and variety of colour and texture. Great stuff!

Isaac was a very fine musician, but also a wonderful teacher! I went to 2 of his guitar workshops at Cambridge Folk Festival, and always walked away feeling like he'd imparted something very special. He played at Lincoln Folk Festival here in the UK for a number of years. I remember him very well indeed. RIP Isaac: you were one of a kind.

He was a real inspiration and so open to anyone who wanted to talk...I saw him so many times over 20 years...just the best ! If you go to Hitchin Folk Club their stage Backdrop is a Black and white picture of Isaac..so he's always there.

Isaac Stayed with us a couple of times and was a gentleman, a friend and an inperation. through this land of England i am sure there is many a folk club organiser who had the pleasure of isaacs wondeful company and beautiful music......and the strange aroma that drifted from his van. R.I.P Isaac

I envy you guys so much, I'm 19 and never got to see Guillory live, the 'Slow Down' album is easily one of the greatest albums around.

He was made for Youtube type of promotion. He must have been born too soon.
