@Jamniro All you're doing is making a man your god there. That's worked out in the past. Hitler and Stalin were great weren't they? Not to mention the Roman emperors, Pharaohs, and other deified, flawed men. Why follow someone who's just as corrupt as you are? What "sick temptations" are you talking about? The ones the government dictates? That changes with each new power. Something needs to exist objectively. A God must exist to be the standard of truth.

@beyondtheveilofdeath That's a paradox. If we made such a mess, why look inside ourselves to fix it? What else has come from Man other than sin, corruption, and mutilation. We need God. A God to hold us accountable, to lead, and to correct. Something that is higher than you so that you live up to more than your every whim and fancy. Just ask an AA member. My inner self is a wealth of desire. God is firm and true, so I discipline myself to that standard of truth. I never bought into Brahmanism.
