Because I am playing the same song with the same sheet music as you and it sounds a little bit different between the text passages "Then I am walking in memphis" and "I was walking with my feet" ....

@10milesfromnowhere Nice job. I think what Msager is getting to is that this is a soulful, somewhat jazzy song begging for improvisation, and not being played off of sheet music. Memorizing is not so much memorizing every note, but understanding the essence of the music, and letting yourself get lost in some of the notes, especially (in this song) the bridge. Again, nice job, but learn to let yourself go a little bit more--and get that thing tuned! ;0)

this song is not that easy as it looks because of its strange tempo.you didnt get the tempo right,you gotta have a really good ear to hear it. work on the tempo and put more feeling into it.and please-but down those sheets
