VULTURE was founded in the mid 80's, and is a new star rizing right from the start. 2 songs appear on the compilation HEAVY TOUCH while their videoclips are broadcasted on MTV, RTL and Ikon. Shows supporting American metal masters like MANOWAR, ANTHRAX and OVERKILL result in a fast growing popularity of the band in the late 80's.

Because of their passion for Melodic Rock, both singer Robert Soeterboek and drummer Richard van Leeuwen quit the band around 1990. Robert turns up in projects like AYREON, while Richard is building up his carreer with FLYER, THRENODY and FROZEN SUN.
