This album is really good. I like the light and dark contrast between songs this of course being the brightest. Devout baptist?!? You know it is possible to be a christian that doesn't believe in organized religion. I can't get any official sources on this. checked the official site nothing about religion looked at wiki they say it says it on something probably not written by the band. The wiki for this album has no citation for this claim. another bio says raised as a devout baptist.

@carlosantie that's one of my favorite things about the femmes tho, yes he's religious but he doesn't let that get in the way of hisexpressing ALL of his emotions. I think they're music is really uplifting cause they're the only ones I know who talk about loving jesus and dying for a fuck on the same album. most bands that talk religion just seem like robots who don't feel anything but love, which is alright, but it's nice to hear someone scream about something you can relate to.
