A TRUE Rock virtuoso...doesn't struggle on any technique or style....I have listened to many guitar players and I can therefore conclude that Vinnie is the most articulate of them all....so well-versed he can play any style, including jazz

ha, the poeple saying they couldnt get into "To the Core" and it was too over the place, well yeah, EXACTLY it showcases what a versatile guitarist VM is, he had to move on from this vicious rumours style of soloing, else he would have become another Yngwie locked into a style. To the Core shows what a sophisticated guitarist he has developed into, the only player capable of playing like Malmsteen, Jeff Beck, Holdsworth, Satriani, Vai, he truly is the greatest electric player on Earth today. He is where Becker would have ended up if he was still playing

It's an instrumental titled "Invader" and it's the 8th track of the album before "In Fire".

Vinnie just wsn't a metalist, nor was McGee. Thorpe got his fingers thorn by accident and came back. It's the songs, not the shredding. Asswipes.
