My sweet man would be turning 21 on July 4th this year. & it'll be a year since he went to be with Jesus on August 6th. This hits so hard, but it's so a "God wink".My prayers go out to all those who have any pain from loss. God bless y'all.

Shit! I don't think it's possible to make a more beautiful harmony or pack so much talent into such a small space as even such a large hall. I just...uh, dang. If this doesn't get you tearing up then you're a colder bastard than I am, and that's something...

Dang Ricky looks old. Makes me realize just how ancient I am. These three are some of my favorites. I have always been blessed with exceedingly good taste. And with musicians like this to choose from, good taste is easy.

Go Rest High on That Mountain" is a song written and recorded by American country music artist Vince Gill. It was released in August 1995 as the sixth single from his album When Love Finds You. It is a eulogic ballad. Gill began writing the song following the death of country music superstar Keith Whitley, who died in 1989. Gill did not finish the song until a few years later following the death of his older brother Bob, in 1993, of a heart attack. Ricky Skaggs and Patty Loveless sang background vocals on the record. The song won the CMA's Song of the Year award in 1996[1] and a BMI Most-Performed Song award in 1997.[2] It also received two Grammy Awards for Best Male Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Song in the 38th Grammy Awards.[3] The single reached #14 on the Country Singles chart in 1995.[4]On May 2, 2013 at the George Jones funeral in the Opry hall with Patty Loveless, he was too emotional sing some of the words of this song, but completed the duet by focusing on the guitar. He underlined this duet by stating he always was aware of a 'special anointing' in his duets with Loveless.I copied this info from Wikipedia. Have not verified this commentary
