You mean to say she lays awake and watches Jesus sleep? Sounds to me like she is for sure talking about a boy/girl relationship that is blessed by God. Of coarse people are entitled to take from the lyrics of a song what they want. There is no right or wrong in how you choose to interpret a song. Still I do think Victoria meant for this song to be about her and boy with a sacred love blessed by God.
