@ThirdandPine I agree about the opening...sounds almost like a song a stripper would use...lol I think the producer just wanted the song to have a modern/hip sound because a lot of teens then weren't really interested in the old standards.

You are putting on some very good stuff. Keep up the good work. In my opinion this song is very probably the most beautiful ever written. It was the title of the screen biography of Gus Kahn, the man who wrote the song. He arrived in this country as an immigrant from Germany, speaking only Yiddish and German and became the best lyricist America ever produced.
