I don't know did she become popular at a point? I totally miss the Marilyn Monroe fad. But since I read a lot I do know quite a bit about her. No one can really just write her off as being a whore. She lived in a very poor town as she tried to get out the best way she could people tricked her and thought she was going to be a great big movie star wish she was but she had no idea of what she had to sell to be that. As a matter of fact she wanted to stop being in movies but the producers and MGM have her locked in a contract and if she didn't continue to play in the movie she would have to pay all the money back to the studio. It was a very very sad story she was a sweet woman people said that she really cared she even spoke up for Ella Fitzgerald back of the time where blacks weren't allowed to walk in an establishment but it was okay for them to walk at the back door to perform she spoke up loud and defended her and said that she would not come into that establishment unless y Ella Fitzgerald was allowed to walk to the front door. She was very beautiful but people also do not know is that beauty with fake she had a nose job this is a pure fact so her classes Beauty became stunning beauty. your song is really great and it does tell a very strong message if people really knew what tragic life Marilyn Monroe had they wouldn't idolized so much and they wouldn't want to trade their life for hers sometimes with beauty comes great responsibility and pain.

The sad thing is that back of her time if you don't go on her knees, you don't go anywhere in Hollywood. In fact you'll be put out the second you said no, in fact the ironic thing is that she hated sex even though she's the biggest sex symbol of her time.
