This amp would sound 100 times better with a Fryette Fatbottom 4x12 cab. Any other just doesn't cut it.

@Alen Gregorin and what's your opinion between the SigX, D60 and UL? specially for leads.

i agree man, had a D60, my bandmate has a Siggy and i just got a Pittbull UL kt88, if anyone says this amp is saturated needs his head checked. But i must confess, they only sound good on Fryette cabs plus changing the first gain stage tube (factory recommended) really makes a difference. and yep, the sound of the amp on this video is crap, but there is many factors to why this would happen. If you ask me this just isnt the amp for Ola regarding what he plays now.

...Yeah, I'm pretty sure. VHT's are extremely notorious for being extremely unforgiving. Marshalls can be really damn saturated, especially the JVM.

If you think a Fryette/VHT is saturated, then you need your ears checked. They're notorious for being extremely dry but tight and focused.

I own this amp and Fryette's Deliverance 120. If you ask me either this guy has the settings all wrong or his palm mute technique is jacked up. It sounds freaking awful. Way too much gain and scratchy ass pedal (0 0 0 0 on E string not pedal on the floor) sounds. I use the first gain stage (voicing) at about 3 o'clock and the second gain stage (saturation) at about 12 or 1 max. This amp sounds great if you know what you're doing. Plus I'm not a big fan of 7 string guitars.

im sure its a nice amp but imo i prefer laying off the gain and bringing out the bass a little and also laying off the treble but that probably would fall into the sweetspot of this baby lol

biggest problem with most metal amps nowadays.. overly saturated thats why i dont like most of em or maybe its the persons settings but there is like absolutely no clarity, its like each note strummend in the chord is like trying to battle for who rings out more

But he do demos with affordable gear. For example Marshall MG15, POD HD500, POD HD Pro, Orange Tiny Terror etc. I think when he get eleven rack or something like that then Ola will make incedible video. BTW Nice video Ola :)

I think he should demo affordable gear, so he can show us how to get really badass metal tones from in-expensive gear. People just don't walk into guitar center, sit down and make an amp sound like Ola's tone haha.

NO, Ola please do not demo affordable hear that anyone can go demo themselves at Guitar center, so we have to watch all 3000 demos that would have to be made!! If you want demos of cheaper gear, just youtube them, they're out there. This isn't a hack channel, You don't see Top gear test driving VW bugs do you?

engl need some retubing before they sound first class..they are also really cold biased

I recently returned Engl Savage 120,just could not get used to the sound of it. I kept Mesa Rectifier instead.
