I'm not the biggest Veruca Salt fan, but I friggin love this! They did a spectacular job of picking up where they left off. If I were told this was released after "American Thighs", I would believe it.

There is a real Museum of Broken Relationships in Zagreb, Croatia. This is a song by Veruca Salt called "In the Garden of Rejection."In the garden of rejection, the broken people goThere's a hook where you can hang your heartFrame it on the wall and let it goHalalala let it goExhibition is of the essence, it's what we come here forPut the relics of your lost love on displayAnd lock the doorHalalala lock the doorStay? Always kissing her this and thatGoing underground to skin her cat Always sneaking out and creeping back I set the trapHe's a cheater, a bottom feederIn this box a lock of his hairJubilation, he loves me againHalalala I don't care(Chorus)Halalala I don't careHalalala halalalaHalalala I don't careJubilation, he loves me again x4

Really has the raw, unpolished sound that American Thighs had, one of my favorite albums of all time. Can't believe the girls are back together and the sound is as good as ever.

This has to be one of the better feel-good stories of the music industry. Their feud and break-up was very nasty and well documented. Only Fleetwood Mac might have more drama surrounding them. The song "Born Entertainer" was about Nina Gordon, and it was not flattering song. Not only are they back, and not only did they not change their sound, but holy cow...they sound GREAT!

I swear it sounds like they picked up right where they left off after Eight Arms.

Oh my gawd... *facepalm* ...OK, first off, yes, I DO in fact like it. I do. However, the REASON that I like it is because this is exactly the type of music that I was listening to 20 YEARS AGO! In fact, while listening to this, I thought that precise thing to myself, "Holy shit. This is the type of shit that I used to listen to, like, 20 some odd years ago!". Ok, one thing that's good about this: the girls have kept it REAL. Kudos to that! But another thing that made me, literally, laugh out loud, was the typical 90's style ending to the song! LMFAO!!! >_< ..All in all, this song IS awesome! it's just that time has moved forward, and Veruca Salt, as the original line-up, has stayed exactly the same. Good or bad, it is what it is. I have mixed feelings towards it all, now, because it's yet another reminder of my age :p
