The very first picture looks really familiar, which would not be in Japan, but next to Like-Like (H1) on Oahu, Hawaii... I wouldn't bet on it, but I used to live 10 minutes from it and you can't miss the sight of this Temple, especially if you travel from Waikiki to either Kaneohe/Kailua/Lanikai, etc. Aloha~!

4:08 "boku no namae wa Kane desu, nihongo dekimasu (my name is (Keith) Kane, I can speak Japanese" xD the most awesome part of this song.

Sadly, while Japan is lovely place to visit, you would never want to live there. Most people work 6 day weeks, 12 hour days, and live in tiny apartments, not my cupa tea :P

I would really love to see Japan, even if some of it's luster is gone after the tsunami over a year ago. Plus, this is a wonderfully catchy tune. Finally, I'd love to compliment the person who made the video on the wonderful pictures of Japan.

@yowdamann It came from the album Running On Ice released in the mid 90's, when Keith Kane had a more prominent singing role in the band. He has a heck of a voice; go and check out the song Wash Away on the Live Stages album ;)

Right now I'm an American living in Japan, and I love this song! Although I've met some amazing people here, I can still relate to the feelings of "nobody knows my name" when I'm surrounded by crowds of people in the streets of Tokyo or on packed trains. I also love the little bits of Japanese that are inserted at the end of this song.

@kasciekay To be honest I really fell in love with some of their customs and traditions, but most of all I think I'd like to visit Japan to experience some isolation from all that I know.I'm from Romania you see,and I think it would do me some good if I were to separate myself from all my friends and family for a year or so,just to get in touch with my inner self,to see where I want my life to go and so on. And Japan is so wonderful that I think it'd be the perfect place.

@valalex0507 That would be really neat to see Japan. I had actually planned to go visit my hubby there but, unfortunately he was sent on a deployment and deterred my traveling plans. All the pictures I have seen from Japan are so beautiful, especially the beaches! Is there a specific reason you would like to travel there? :)

This song was perfect for me and my husband. Before we were married, he was stationed in Okinawa, Japan and I was all the way in America. This was one of the songs I listened to all the time- and I love Vertical Horizon :)
