Help! I'm trapped in a bubble filled with only dark, heavy, thrashy,evil 80's metal music blaring in my ears!!. ...Wait..did I just say help? uh... I meant i'll send a postcard!!! Just inject some cheez whiz and Jack Daniels into my bubble I should last another decade or so! 80's was THE most historic decade for music as we know it!! hey props for Sabbath but in the 70's u had Sabbath, ZEP, KISS, Rainbow etc.all these bands were good (well early early KISS anyway) And I know I'm missing tons of bands but their sound,speed ,and heaviness were not light years away from each other. Now Venom? although they never peaked as a dominant band like these bands they not only influenced some of the greatest metal bands ever (a.k.a. metallica,anthrax,overkill,megadeth..etc.etc.), they also created Death Metal, and Black Metal...which has now grown to a couple more genres to date!! So all I have 2 say is VENOM MUTHA FUCKA!!!9 years ago
