I received the opportunity on a band trip to sing with the Annapolis US Naval Academy Glee Club, through participating with a Band Trip with Heritage Festivals. The Glee Club extended the invitation to each group participating in the festival and my band director chose myself, Joey Abis, and another young man by the name of Daniel Gilligan. We sang the classic arrangement of Battle Hymn of The Republic by Peter J. Wilhousky. This concert was the Glee clubs spring concert on April 16th, 2010

The U. S. Armed Forces Naval Academy (not any of them...(.Army, Air Force, Navy..Coast Guard) do not require an "outside" pianist....THEY HAVE THEIR OWN!!!!  What a STUNNING PERFORMANCE!!!!  BY THE ENTIRE ENSEMBLE!!!!!

I'm 6th from the right, top row. As for what happened to us, many of us have graduated (myself included). I went submarines, along with most of the 2011 baritones. We had 2 med corps guys, a few surface warfare guys (I think), and a number of pilots/nfos. I don't think we had any marines, but I could be incorrect. I'm glad you enjoyed our performance. Thank you!
