Sad thing this statement is totally true, Helloween along with Iron Maiden are my two main favorite bands of all time, but Helloween has changed a lot from their old happy pop-ish power metal style to their forced heavy artificial rubbish they are putting out today :( I liked Gambling With Teh Devil but I honestly couldn't even hear their newer album full at least once! I bought it like months and months ago but I can't never hear more than 2 songs from that god forsaking disc

Don't listen to that guy, all metal is heavy metal, but then there is the subgenre of heavy metal called Heavy Metal or Traditional metal. Iron Maiden was NWOBHM until they evolved into just Iron Maiden which is in itself a genre of heavy metal. So basically you are absolutely correct in your statement. As for Dio most of his work was metal including his days in Rainbow. Unisonic is more Power rock than metal, but good songwriting and great playing is awesome whatever genre.
