If I had to pick a single song from across Grog's career, it'd be this one. And this video. Everyone looks so beautiful! The line-up of Ultraviolet was basically Feline with a better drummer (Al Fletcher), and Die So Fluid are basically Ultraviolet without Ted Garcia on 2nd guitar. Ultraviolet was the evolutionary link between Feline & DSF, with a born-again, blonde-again Grog learning to rock out. This song is so direct & honest, and very openly about what had happened to the Band over the previous 18 months. "Tell me you believe it, thankful you still feel it - we are the worlds best kept secret". Absolutely. Always were, but hopefully not for much longer... ;)

Beautiful video. I loved it the second I saw it and watched it over and over. I'd very much like to try my hand at fixing the audio but even with the small blip at the end this sounds great. I'm planning to upload Memoirs of a Psychopath and the Unknown EP soon so keep an eye out for that. And this is shameless self promotion I suppose but I've put up every Flinch track as well. It really sucks to be a fan of music that's hard to find so I'm doing what I wish someone had done when I first fel

Any ideas as to where i might be able to source the Ultraviolet EP? As in Grogs words, this song just made my tiny world explode ;D

ABSOLUTgarbage

What was wierd for me was after the repackaged album came out, and finding the promo for Drama Queen in a second hand store, but not the single (which was cancelled) it took another 3 years for me to find out the band was no more (thanks..early internet) and neither was Ultraviolet. By that time DSF were already on the go!

OMG I can't believe I've only just came across this footage! Feline were my fave band of the late 90s (well second fave, I don't think I have to explain who pipped them). I only managed to find a copy of Ultraviolet's album and EP in 2008, although I found some Flinch material about 2003, and heard most of their stuff then. And of course, I was aware of DSF and have their albums too. I hope I get a chance to meet Grog and the guys someday but they never seem to play in Glasgow!!!!

Drewski I gotta say kudos to you for being in such an awesome set of bands. I wouldn't be playing in bands if I hadn't been inspired by Flinch and Feline and all the others that came after. (obv. I know you weren't in flinch but the point rematins)

Die So Fluid Official

I'm amazed how good this record sounds. It was recorded in our old rehearsal space at the old fortress studios. I went sort of deaf in one ear mixing it and haven't produced anything since!

One of my favourite Ultraviolet tracks!! You can hear the rawn heaviness of Die So Fluid slowly creeping in!!
