Anyone a fan of Ultra Vivid Scene? This is a band that needed more recognition and definitely needs some people to cover some of their songs, especially "Mercy Seat" and "You Didn't Say Please"While there's no proof positive, I'm pretty certain that this song is about heroin....."you can taste the fire for yourself", "because when the blood begins to flow, there's no where else to go..", etc.Bonus: around 3:23 you will see a very young Moby​ playing guitar. He was performing with them around the time of the release of this song.

I'm always curious. Especially about bands like this.Kurt Ralske aka Ultra Vivid Scene released a few albums in the late 80's that were minor alternative hits. In the 90's the albums essentially disappeared -- unless you could find them used you were out of luck.As the 90's waned and the internet came to be, releases like this became easier to find via file sharing. After all, you couldn't buy them anywhere legitimately so you had to download them via torrents.Nowadays, they ARE available for legitimate purchase (I just found al of UVS's releases available through Google Play Music) and I'm curious how much artists like this actually earn from these sales.#ultravividscene
