Here is a break down of the classic sing along that every Ukulele player should know. It has the intro riff, strum pattern, and breaks down the intro, verse and chorus in a slow but not boring easy to understand fashion. Hope it helps some people break out of their rut and learn some new chord shape and strum patterns!

HiI watched this video with my 10 year old son who wanted to learn three little birds on his uke last night. I was very glad to see a tutorial in original pitch, but I have to tell you that you have got the verse part slightly wrong. After watching the video, we sat down to play the song along with Bob - you state the verse part chords go: A E A D A E A D and in any of the original recordings, it's actually A E A D A E D AI don't mean to be pedantic, but thought I should point it out. Thanks.

I don't know if I understand your breakdown for the finger places on the frets and strings. I've never seen it done like this before. Is there a lesson where you explain your system?

I would love to hear this all the way through with the words to help with chord changes. Any chance you could post one round of the complete song from start to finish? Thank you!

thanks. for the riff i like to keep fingers 1 and 2 down in the A and E strings up on the 4th position and then use thumb and little finger snaps for the melody. that way i do not have to think about where my fingers go so 'early in the morning'
