We played this song in high school at the annual talent show, I was a drummer. We didn't win because old teachers were judging the contest. I believe some chick won 1st for playing the piano, 2nd and 3rd were probably something stupid. We were so good that everyone went crazy after we finished, it took 15minutes to get everyone to calm down, they just kept asking for an encore. We weren't allowed to go back on. After the show the judges told us that although we didn't win, we were the best band they had ever heard and the best act of the show. They just didn't want to promote Metal bands. We had parents come up to us and tell us we made the price of the tickets worth it. We got hired to play a party for one of the students by a parent that night. Although we didn't win, it was really cool that everyone else thought we should have won.
