The music rhythm in this song just has that something that makes you want to get up and slow dance where ever you are. Especially if you have the partner of your dreams. Happy but sad...nice

The backup females are dragging down the pitch ------- thus, they suck --- which might explain having been selected in the 1st place. UB 40 was a Birmingham, England sensation that opened a new appreciation for the "Kingston Beat" sound, of having the Calypso edge to music that was to follow. Their rendition of "Kingston Town" & "Red, Red Wine" are both examples of how they could artistically (via instrumentation & harmoniously through sound) be able to do justice to the songs they copied & then released for public entertainment. They were actually very talented professionals instilled with a love for the music, of honouring the geniuses who had made the music possible from earlier hits. 55 million records sold worldwide = they are doing something right.
