Comment:

Only after 25 successful years in the music business are musicians and bands in the famous Rock'n'Roll Hall Of Fame. Apart from Percy Sledge, the O'Jays, the Pretenders and Buddy Guy will be in March 2005, U2 honored and solemnly into the Hall of Fame. The eulogy for U2 keeps Bruce Springsteen, who thus revanchiert Bono. Bono had in 1999, Bruce Springsteen into the Rock'n'Roll Hall Of Fame introduced. The highlight of the evening is the live performance of U2, when they play a total of 4 songs. During 'Until The End Of The World' Bono is one of the tables in the auditorium and takes a champagne bottle to open it and in the audience to spray. For 'Pride (In The Name Of Love)' Bono then builds a few lines from the Bruce Springsteen song "The Promised Land 'is a. Immediately after Bruce Springsteen comes to the stage and supported U2 at 'I Still Have not Found What I'm Looking For' on guitar and the lead vocals. Their short appearance quit with U2 'Vertigo'.

and the Beatles sing about how the whole world lives in a yellow submarine!!! Does any band have every single on of their songs "meaning" something?

bigleague5

exactly. So many songs are "meaningless" to some but mean the world to others. That's what music is. Zeppelin sings about Lord of the Rings and J.R. Tolkien's world half the time for God's sake! But I still listen to it and actually like it!

LMAO!! REM. First of all REM arent in U2's class. and there are many others in U2's class and even above. If you think REM is the pinnacle of music then I am sorry for you.

i think the jam and the clash would argue the same- i like u2 especially the early stuff but lets not forget who gave them lessons-Rem are not in the same league as any of them

Bono may not have the best voice in rock but he knows how to let it out!

The Edge is easily one of the most under-rated guitar players in the history of rock and roll music....fact.

I am a U2 fan, BUT, I hate this song. Totally meaningless, moronic song. Power chords will never replace skill or inspiration. U2 have been running on empty batteries for a long time.
