Actually, on the 360 Rose Bowl he used a strat copy called a Fernades Retrorocket. It had humbucker pick ups oppose to the single coils found on a strat. He also uses this guitar for With Or Without You due to it having an in built sustainer. Both guitars sound similar but not quite the same. The retrorocket has more of a rock feel to it. But I do have to say this version is the best mainly due to the sheer magnetude performance.

I was at this show and this song was an absolute highlight of that night. I believe this is from the second night. Def on of the best versions of this song I have ever heard. The whole Achtung baby album is just amazing. Make sure to see 'From the Sky Down". A must for any U2 fan.
