Me playing along to Tweeter and The Monkeyman - The Headstones version, which rocks.

I'm just a newbie guitar player - only picked it up a little over a year or so ago. This is the first song I can actually play all the way through due to the limited lead licks. It's a very simple song but fun to play. E-D-A-E...repeat until slapped. The little vamp after the lead licks is just A-G.

Guitar is my homemade Strat-style hardtail with GFS lil killer rails. Amp is an Epiphone Valve Jr. with a Tonebone Radial Classic distortion pedal.

Those are DPDT on-off-on mini-switches. Each one controls it's own pickup...so it's either in single coil, off or humbucking mode.

What are those little rivets beside your middle? Great cover, seems super easy to play.

Yes, I did have to file the pickup openings a bit to accommodate the 'Lil Killers.

when you put in those pickups did you have to cut pickup holes bigger i heard they are oversized.

Thank you. I watched your Polly lesson and it's very good...thanks for posting it. I just wish I started playing at your age! Oh well, never too early or too late, right?

Could you demo all three clean?

I like it very much. I find the rails are missing a bit of that "single coil" sound but they are pretty close. I tend to stick to the humbucker mode - but all three pickups have their own distinctive sound, and being able to mix them certainly gives you a wide range of tones. I still like the bridge in humbucking mode the most...very punchy and raw. And dropping to single mode is a quick way to clean it up and back off the output.

Sorry, I must have missed your comment when you posted it. Installing the pickups was easy (assuming you are handy with a soldering iron) but the pickguard did require some filing to make them fit. Yes, you get a wiring diagram with several options. Mine is wired so that each pup has it's own 3-way toggle for single, humbucker and off. The sound you hear in this vid is the bridge pup in humbucker mode. I can try to demo all the sounds if I get a chance... Thanks for your comment...

Nice guitar. Nice playing. Was it easy/difficult to install the pups - do gfs give wiring instructions? Would you do a demo of the different sounds in different positions Please? thanks

I like them well enough. If you're looking for a true, single coil sound then these probably aren't for you. I think the bridge (15k) pickup in humbucker mode sounds the best.

What do think about the little killers?

reminds me of my guitar, except mine is a tom delonge with a bill lawrence 500xl bridge humbucker and a rosewood neck. otherwise its dead on like yours. and p.s: definitely not bad for what little experience you do have!
