I get it, that this isn't that same battle-metalling Turisas I grew up with, but hell, I can't understand the hate. This album is brilliant. I love the proggy feeling, and the lyrics are great, very creative and even fun. I must say though, that I'm rather disappointed with the line-up changes, more specifically how it'll work live. I mean, I saw Turisas in 2011, and In the Court of Jarisleif was the shit. Wonder how it'll turn out with a keyboardist instead of the accordion.

A lot of people are saying that this album is awful and that Turisas "used to be" good. However, I think the songs in this album are made for live performances, in which case I'd have to say they're probably pretty good. In a live performance you're not so much concerned with artistic quality.However, "Piece by Piece" and "We Ride Together" are just generally amazing.
