Here's an acoustic version of the first single from the new Turin Brakes album 'Outbursts'. The song is called 'The Sea Change'. This live acoustic version was performed in the Dermot O'Leary show on Radio 2. The single will be widely available 22 February 2010.

Zwei Briten, die schon seit Jahren tolle Musik machen und auch ab und zu in Deutschland auftreten. ;) Hab sie zwei Mal gesehen, sind absolut hammer live. Da sie außerdem nicht sonderlich bekannt sind, sind die Gigs immer klein und man kann nah an der Bühne stehen.11 years ago

@LayItPlayItDown Thats the point! I love the acoustic sounds too! That was exactly, what i loved about the first two albums - and of course the catchy dreamy songs. After the Album "Ether Song" they made to much mainstream pop-music. They should go back to roots and make the same music, which had made them famous and popular. But youre right, the newest album is a step forward. Its not bad! ;-)14 years ago

@MaddogXY Gotta add a layer here, in relation to the answer that i seem to be immune to ;) To me ' Dark on fire ' was the first let down album (although i loved the song). But i do think this new album is a step forward and away from the electric rock band setting that i personally don't want them in, and towards the acoustic sounds that i love to hear from Turin Brakes. Personally i really (not love but) like the new album & look forward too the next dose of (hopefully) earthy acoustics!14 years ago
