15th Track of the album Le Pelegrin by Tri Yann featuring the exploits of a man called Ian Angus who is making a pilgrimage from his birth place, the Isle of Lewis, to Saint-Jacques de Compostelle. On his way he meets some Moors in Occitania and dances with them. This beautiful instrumental Music that represents the ensuing dance is a clever fusion of Arabic and Western influences. The various artworks and images (excluding those of Tri Yann in concert) are ones which this music evokes for me when I listen to it.

Quid de Mike Oldfield, Enya, les ballades irlandaises de Kate Bush, des Corrs, les Pogues et j'en passe. Il me semble qu'en Angleterre comme dans les pays du Royaume Uni ces musiques sont au contraire appréciées et souvent remises au goût du jour.11 years ago

Je suis tout à fait d'accord. En Angleterre, hélas, ce genre de musique folk rock n'existe pas depuis l'époque de Steeleye Span dans les années 70. Je suis content qu'il y ait toujours beaucoup de fans de cette musique folklorique!13 years ago
