Does anyone know what words are being said in 2:52? Because the only words I think I can make out are..."It was no secret, Mark"... But I'm sure it's something else.

I agree with you partially. I feel like Zimmer's music fits some movies, while scores like this fit other movies. Zimmer's music fits action-adventure type movies where there is a need for action in order to create intensity. I feel like this song fits this movie because it's not an action movie. It's more of a simple movie (no explosions, CGI, monsters), and the intensity is created more subtly without action. Therefore, this simple, subtle song fits.

The funny thing is that Zimmer actually used some of these tracks(i mean the social network instrumentals) in "Drive"

You mean Reznor's and Ross'. If you're gonna wax like you know about OSTs, which, given that you so hastily discredit Zimmer's score and all its brilliance means that you don't know much, then at least sound credible. Seriously, this soundtrack (TSN) is a masterpiece to say the least, but not to the exclusion of the Inception OST, which also has experimental qualities and while one could argue that all of Zimmer's soundtracks sound the alike the same could be said of Reznor's music as well.

i think if he apologized to her at the end of the movie it would have made it that much better, felt a bit of a neutral ending when he just refreshes her page.

@countchunkula - It sounds like so many other scores because he makes so many of them, haha. But anyways don't get me wrong this is a good soundtrack, but I don't see how you could say it will be forgotten in years. Hans' work is very well regarded as one of the best modern composers for films. Saying it will be forgotten in years is just ignorance.

Does anyone know the name of the song that's playing when Mark is running from the bar to his dorm. It's a piano piece.

This piece from the score put so much more emotion and motivation into the scene when Mark tried to say Hi to Erica.
