This band could have been MEGA if the bloody accountants who ran MCA records hadn’t pulled the plug. Acts such as Genesis, Pink Floyd and David Bowie wouldn’t have made it if they hadn’t been supported by their record companies in the early days. Such short term thinking deprives us of some great music that we will never hear. I saw Wendy and the boys play at The Marquee Club in the early days and after they had made it at Cambridge Corn Exchange. Wendy was really into her music and a great singer and stage performer.

I swear, Wendy is a fantastic vocalist and performer. Too bad they dressed her up in those ridiculous costumes because the (breathtaking) visual then takes away from the truly wonderful audio.I can't think of any woman's voice with the range and power, velvety smoothness to nuclear rage that can compare favorably.
