Must admit that though I prefer Traffic after their reunion in 1970, Dave Mason wrote some really great songs for them

I saw them in January 1973. They were fantastic and one of the best live bands I've ever seen. I've always loved this song.

What a shame Steve didn't play piano on this song; I wonder why he didn't? Chris' flute plus the bongos are a great addition, but the studio version w/ Leon Russell on piano is so sublime; my all time favorite ballad!

Love Traffic with or without Dave Mason. Good sounding guitar he has!

I've been a fan of Dave Mason since the 70's and this song is a good example of why that is. I've never heard this version before today and I really like it although I could do without the flute. In my opinion, it takes away from this incredible vocal performance and the acoustic guitar, which I'm assuming is being played by Mr. Mason himself. What a beautiful voice he has. So very soothing to the soul.

Funny enough, this IS credited to Traffic on re-issues of the album... the album didnt sell well enough at first since there was no band name attached. I have 2 copies of the LP - one the regular issue, credited just to the artists, and the other is a pre-release promo -the record itself is credited to the individual artists and to "Traffic, Etc". but the cover just lists the artists. Later pressings credited "Traffic" on the cover. it is SUCH a great album... one of my favorites, definitely.
