The only verse remotely relatable to Revelations would be the final segment: "So as the darkness closes in Know that the sun will shine again Bringing salvation to a world on fire" I'm assuming that this is referring to the believed "Second Coming" of Jesus, which is the center-point of the book of Revelations.11 years ago

"Look, Mommy! More dumb people!" Revelations is not the only book in the Bible, nor is the Bible the only piece of literature/art based in the Christian faith. The book of Revelations is nothing but end-time prophecies, with which this song has little to do. I THINK (I could be wrong here) that the "fire" they're referring to setting upon the world is in the same sense as most Christians refer to spreading the Gospel "like wildfire."11 years ago
