Went to a Keaggy concert, and was the obnoxious fool in the font row yelling for him to do Town to Town (it was the album tour for Play thru me). He ignored me the first couple of times, then finally said, "This band doesn't know that material, but I can do a solo version of it." Had the band stand at ease, while he did a slow, shortened version of it. Went off into truly hypnotic guitar riffs with a repeater. Tranced out the whole stadium, myself included, and that remains one of the absolutely best guitar performances I have ever seen.

One of the best PK albuns. I was in Waco TX at that time (Jan 1981) searching for good christian contemporary music! and I got this blue cassette, good choice.

I had a band that did this song over ten years ago. Well, actually we did a truncated version, Basically our own arrangement. In fact I had never heard this song until this posting. One of our guitar players came up with the basic arrangement. After hearing it for the first time I'm really impressed to say the least. I'll be posting our version soon but obviously don't expect this duration nor quality. But I'm still very glad to have had the privilege to know and to have performed this song.

This is my personal favorite of his. His craftsmanship and versatility are second to none. His guitar work captures you and takes you with him. He is gifted and his guitar reaches deep . He can make me want to dance, celebrate and weep. Masterful minstrel in the Kings court...
