Where does sexuality at all come into liking Tori Amos? I have been a (very straight) pianist and artist since I was 7. She is one of a kind. [God] broke the mold after [she] made her. It's more than her piano playing, which is enough in itself, but she loses herself in her music, which sets her at a higher bar of artist.

@derailedbicycle In short, Ice cream assassin was a nick name the press gave to a group of child kiddnappers in the 90s who used to lure children to them using ice cream vans. This song is about Tori's miscarriage, so she's calling God an ice cream assassin because he took her baby away.

I know Tori's said "the ice cream assassin" refers to God but does anyone have any theory as to how she arrived at that particular term? What could ice cream possibly signify in relation to God? I adore the song by the way and I adore Tori, love the lyrics as well but the part mentioned above was always somewhat of a mystery for me.

Good god this woman is unbelievable!!! It's hard for me to hear this song without the harmony in the chorus. Still amazing, but that harmony is genius. I just sing it myself when watching live performances.

This song has some great phrases in it ... it changes from 6/8 to 6/7 in a flowing way and the drummer does some awesome fills

@allthingsfeist Thank you. I really needed that. Its just that with the pressure of finishing school and the pressure that everyone else at school is putting on me that I sometimes feel like I can't go on. I really felt like I was at my end last night.

Today, I tried to commit suicide and I was unsucessful. The reason is because of school pressure and its my senior year and the pressure is really coming down on me hard. This song is therapeutic. Thank you Tori.
