I love Tori! Like, a whole lot. But I've always wished her vocals on this version of the song were better. I love the piano bit she has, but her interpretation of the vocals is not my favorite. :-( Too bad.I love her though, in general. Pretty much if my soul would write songs, it would just re-write the ones she's already written.

I love this, I've had the one from the "higher learning" movie soundtrack on 3 different mp3 players, I like the purity and simplicity of it, she's one of the inspirations for "ordinary people" by john legend and "stay" by Rihanna when you consider how organic they all sound with subtle instrumentation

She always picks and nails the best covers! I was feeling skeptical when I saw she covered Hendrix' "6 of 9", but once I heard it...Damn! Distortion through the grand to sound like a Strat? Tori's '90s streak has got to be one of the most covert, badass ops in the history of alternative/ singer-songwriter music. It's all here, but you gotta seek it out.
