I don't understand why people think Maynard sounds bad. This is completely on point. I think people want to hear the song exactly as it appears on yhe record, but that isn't gonna happen since Tool is an ever-evolving band.

Sad to see Maynard lost the grit in his voice for this song. Awesome how he acknowledge's that though, and sings it in a different way, instead of trying to compete with his younger self. Still sounds amazing, just not similar to 10 years or so ago.

I love the new sections in the tune a lot ! but they need to boost the volume on that intro synth part right after cause the energy gets dropped a lot before Maynard sings again after the new solo section.

Just accept and embrace the fact that you don't sound the way you did ten years ago, James. You aren't fooling anybody with that megaphone, bruh. I almost chuckled when I heard the contrast between the distorted, overly-amplified voice through the megaphone and your real voice during the chorus -- might as well just sing the chorus through the megaphone as well.
