I'll make sure to have this music playing in the background when I invite a young woman over for a romantic dinner... ;)

Tune is so 60ish and brings me way back to my childhood in 60's. I just love it. Thank you.

This is the type of background music one would hear at fine restaurants in the 60's and 70's. Miss that type of music when entering restaurants.

Lots of Techno, particularly Downtempo, loves to sample this stuff...so not so weird.

This is a brilliant collection (though not convinced of the Yoko Ono item!) I am addicted to it, love the cover versions as well as his own compositions. Thanks so much for posting.

Nice to see the word genius used for Tony here! This Brasilia Mission album was outstanding! My channel, thanks to the uploaders, is an 800 playlist tribute to the best musical geniuses of the 20th century. There've been lots of new posts of TH music recently, so I tripled the size of the playlist linked here today. My lists cover 500 artists, 100 genres & every year since 1900. Hope you have a chance to check them out. chuck

Yep. And a hell of a lot more than people realize. This guy made some of the most lovely, laid back and downright funky music to come out of the late 60's early 70's. And alongside the similarly genius talents like Johnny Harris, Syd Dale, James Clarke, Steve Grey made a lot of the music you heard, but never knew who made in the first place.

Didn't Tony Hatch write so many of those great 1960s hits sung by the wonderful Petula Clark?

People think I'm weird because I love this type of music yet I also love Techno and Dubstep (This is better though)
