This shit is great. My girl just threw away a wine bottle she downed. I'm going to fish it out of the trash and going to make me a slide

I used to use a method that ave me what I thought was a "spirit slide" I would save budweiser 40oz (not the inbev but the american owned budweiser) bottles maybe 7 -10 of them and then take them outside and drop them sideways from about 5 feet after 5 or so bottles I would get one to break just right and just clean up the rest with a pair of pliers and then sand just enough to keep from getting sliced open. There was something organic about that method because you had to get just the right break for it to work and sometimes it wouldn't work at all and I'd waste all the bottles but when it broke just right I thought the spirit of the blues was in my slide.

Great info, terrible camerawork....sorry but it's too close, blurry and much like Woodstock, not really giving the viewer a good shot to see.....

When I make a glass bottle neck slide I always keep it sharp in the end. Playing blues on Chicago streets can be dangerous.

a Dremel with a carbide cut-off wheel works pretty dang well too. Gotta give a shout out to my buddy Ian McWee at Diamond Bottlenecks from England here they make pretty much the sweetest slides Ive played and use them regularly.Tony, always loved your music buddy. My cousin Carrie is a fan and who turned me on when we lived in CB Colorado in the late 90's. Be good buddy.
